Kegel Barn Leisure Game System Single Player Menu
This Menu allows a single player who may be looking to improve their game by beating their own personal score or improving their average.
The second game in this Menu “Singles” is the International format which is played in competitions by the World 9 Pin Association.
Tidy up First
This is a game for a single player only.
In this game you have 25 balls. Initially the pin setter machine is set to clean-up mode. The aim is to clean up 3 frames as soon as possible and then the pin setter changes to full frame for the remainder of the 25 balls. The aim of the game is to get the highest score possible.
For those who perhaps are not familiar with Kegel bowling, Clean Up mode provides 9 pins for the first ball. Any pins that have not been knocked down return after the pin setter cycles and you continue bowling at these remaining pins until you have cleaned up all 9 pins. Full Frame mode presents a full set of 9 pins for each ball.
Singles
This is the second game in our automatic scoring system for Kegel 9 pin bowling, which is provided for solo bowlers. This game is very important as it matches the game format for state, national and international Kegel 9 pin bowling championships. You could almost say that this is the international format for Kegel 9 pin bowling. The bowler bowls 25 balls into the full frame and then 25 balls into clean up to achieve a total score. A recent change in many formal competitions in Europe has seen the 50 ball game reduced to 30, i.e. 15 in the full and 15 into clean up. To allow for a customer to practice the format that suits them, we have added a feature where they can change the number of balls by pressing the up and down arrows on the keyboard. At the start of the game, the rules are displayed with instructions for the bowler to change the number of balls by pressing the up or down arrows on the key pad. We have limited the adjustments to increments of 5 and have a minimum of 5 balls and a maximum of 25 balls for each stage.
